Single\u2011ply PE pipes are also used for collection and transmission of urban and suburban sewage, surface runoff, and industrial waste. The single\u2011ply PE pipes made by Khuzestan Hose and Pipe Co. can be produced for gravity and high\u2011pressure urban and industrial sewer systems and surface runoff and waste collection networks depending on the application, implementation conditions, and customer\u2019s demand. These products are made of quality PE100 and PE80 raw materials using the best machinery and modern technologies according to the Iranian National Standard 14427\u20112 (and the internationally accepted German standard DIN\u00a08074). The company\u2019s 50\u2013250\u00a0mm diameter single\u2011ply PE pipes in 6\u00a0m and 12\u00a0m sections in PN4 and PN6 atm pressure grades are used for gravity sewerage; the pipes with the higher pressure grades PN10 and PN16 are used for pumped transmission of sewage and waste water. It is worth noting that these pipes can be connected through butt welding.
