Quality Control Lab
Enjoying expert engineers with appropriate work experience in the field of industrial polymers and establishing such management systems as ISO 10002, 18001, 14001 and 9001 as well as German DIN Standards, European EN Standards and Iranian national standards, Khuzestan Hose and Pipe Co manufactures its products and, assisted with its quality control laboratory which is perfectly equipped with the latest apparatus and equipment, takes firm steps towards continuous improvement of its products’ quality which is a source of customer satisfaction. This laboratory presently is regarded as one of the best specialized laboratories in the realm of PVC pipes and fittings, and PE pipes industry. KHP Co laboratory has been placed by Iranian Office for Standards on the List of Authorized Laboratories collaborating with the Office.
Activities of the Quality Control Lab
• Obtaining seven INSO licenses (based on European EN standards)
• Offering more lab services and enhancing service quality (cooperation with the Standard Organization)
• Conducting innovation studies and research on various topics
• Constantly improving the quality control procedures and considering novel methods
• Checking for compliance with the relevant standards
• Maintaining good relationships with authorized suppliers and contractors
• Participating in meetings for defining national standards on UPVC pipes and fittings and PE pipes
• Running all the applicable tests on the products and presenting reports
Raw materials quality control
Raw materials play a key role in the quality and functionality of PVC pipes and fittings and PE pipes. Therefore, during their journey from arrival at factory gates to the molds that shape them into final products, these materials undergo the following test, which have considerably helped the formulation design team and the production department.
• Density measurement
• Oxidation induction time (OIT) measurement to check for thermal stability
• Melt flow rate (MFR) test
• K-value test
• Malleability control
• Moisture content measurement
