Pipes for Non Pressurized Urban Sewer Systems
The pipes made by Khuzestan Hose and Pipe Co. for non‑pressurized urban sewer systems are produced in gray according to ISIR 9118 and or DIN‑EN 1401. Depending on the required properties, these pipes are available in three different ring stiffness ratings (resistance to external loads) namely, SN2, SN4, and SN8. Based on the customer’s demand, Khuzestan Hose and Pipe Co. is able to produce these pipes in adhesion and push‑fit (O‑ring) variations.
Sewage pipes are widely used in various industrial applications. These applications are
– Industrial parks
– Urban water and waste water companies
– Rural water and waste water companies
– Industrial factories
Specifications for solvent weld and O-ring non-pressure underground waste pipes based on ISIRI 9118 (DIN EN 1401-1)
Depending on the application, the following UPVC sewage pipe codes are available:
1- U: Installation at a distance 1–? m from the building, where the pipe is connected to the buried pipe system
2- D: Installation up to 1 m from the building, where pipes are buried to be connected to the main urban sewage system
3- UD: Both U and D applications
Ring Stiffness Ratings
Since the fluid flow through sewage pipes is non‑pressurized, these pipes are regarded as solid objects. Therefore, they are categorized based on their ring stiffness (SN2, 4, 8, and 16) rather than pressure grades. Depending on the market demand, Khuzestan Hose and Pipe Co. offers its sewage pipes in the following three ring stiffness ratings:
- SN2
- SN4
- SN8
