Access Plug and Cap
As the name suggests, an Access Plug and Cap is intended for inspection of the sewer for any probable issues. When blockage occurs in sewer lines, traps, elbows or other fittings, a check valve is used for unblocking a sewer line without destructions.
Placement: Any sewer should include enough check valves installed at the lowest points of all its vertical pipes, 3‑way elbows, secondary‑to‑main pipe joints, all points where the pipeline changes direction, and on the main line of the building sewer where the pipe exits the external wall.
Comprising a lid, a body, and a sealing washer inside the lid, a check valve can be threaded on and off the corresponding opening. Manufactured according to INSO 9119‑1 and BSEN 1329‑1, the well‑engineered check valves made by Khuzestan Hose and Pipe Co. can withstand external loads, cause minimum pressure loss, and come in various sizes for different general‑ and special‑purpose applications.
Note: When unclogging a pipe, it is easier and more effective to feed a snake (drum auger) through a check valve.
Specification of Access Plug and Cap according to the national standard 9119 in accordance with DIN EN 1329-1
